System Integration Labs (SIL)

NRaD's System Integration Laboratories contain in-house installations of shipboard systems used for developing and improving equipment, algorithms, and techniques for survey systems. They also make it possible to simulate and rectify operational problems reported by ships at sea.

User friendly displays based on intergrated GPS navigation and ocean sensors ease the job of survey operators.

Post-time enhancement of survey data optimizes information extraction.

Sonar SIL
Wide-Swath Mulitbeam sonar for charting and characterizing the sea floor.
